After a really strong storm overnight, I rode. Not a whole lot of damage, just a few overflows from the creeks around the neighborhood. It was really windy so riding into the wind headed west was pretty rough. East wasn't bad though! There was one jerk who blew a stop sign in the neighborhood and he blew the one to get onto Dante. Looked like he was trying to get away from something. He was driving one of those piece of crap American nondescript cars. Very popular in TN. Also I was really sad to see some stupid graffiti tagged up at the bathrooms at the Sterchi playground. I hate wannabe gangtas. They probably resemble a gaggle of Vanilla Ices more than any true gang.
Otherwise it was a good ride. I pushed harder therefore my average speed was up.

Well it snowed a little bit this morning during church. I took off on the bike. I actually took off without my helmet. It was the beanie that threw me off. Riding into the wind was brutal. The wind was really howling. The windchill had no effect on my fingers as I wore my Thinsulate® gloves. My chin was cold even with the balaclava.
Beautiful day for a ride though. Oh yeah, I saw the turkeys out in the field be the new soccer area. It looked like two tom turkeys. They took off into the forest once they saw me so pictures were not an option. :(
